It is extremely important to us that you are satisfied with your M&A purchase. If you decide your original order is not for you for any reason, we will accept a return of any item given the following conditions;

1. The return is completed within 7 days of delivery with original proof of purchase

2. The item is returned in it’s original condition, unworn, unwashed in it’s original M&A packaging and with the tags attached.

Please note you will be responsible for shipping and handling charges to return any unwanted items.

Upon delivery, if you wish to exchange your original item for another item we can offer you a credit note for the RRP amount of the original purchase to put toward another order given the following conditions;

1. The return is completed within 7 days of delivery with original proof of purchase.

2. The item is returned in it’s original condition, unworn, unwashed in it’s original M&A packaging and with the tags attached.

The shipment schedule of the new item will depend on whether or not the size and style is currently in stock or available on backorder. Once the purchase process is completed through the website using the credit amount, and the returned item has been delivered to our studio, you will be notified of the delivery schedule for your replacement item. Normal shipping charges will incur for the second item(S) and you will be responsible for the shipping And handling charges of the returned item(S).

At Mode & Affaire we are committed to ethical trade. Fur is one of the oldest fabrics known to man and one of nature’s most enduring products. At Mode & Affaire we believe in sourcing fur responsibly. That is; understanding the origins of where the fur garment was made and ensuring the standards of manufacturing fit within the global ethical guidelines.

In order to minimise global waste, fur materials used in our garments are either a by-product or surplus fur. All our materials are sourced from certified farms, whereby the farm receives certification after providing documentation and proof of continued improvement following a strict international standard for environmental management.

Our trade is no different to the Leather, Wool, Cashmere And Silk farming industries and the medical research community, so as members of the animal use industry it is our duty and responsibility to care for the animals in a humane way and only work with suppliers and factories that share the same ethical values and responsibilities.

Gift vouchers are purchased online as an order via the ‘shop’ page on the website.

All vouchers are prepared and sent either electronically or in physical form. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

All vouchers are issued with an unique code which is redeemable at the ‘coupon code’ section of the checkout when purchasing product online at www.modeandaffaire.com. Vouchers are allocated to one customer and cannot be on-sold.

Should a customer request a voucher for a specific amount not available on the ‘shop’ page, contact enquiries@modeandaffaire.com to complete the gift voucher order purchase.

Certain items on the ‘shop’ page are available on backorder. Customers will see these items when items are added to cart and can choose to accept the T&C’s of purchasing an item on backorder or decide to purchase another product which is in stock.

‘Backorder’ means the item is currently out of stock and not available for immediate despatch, however it will be getting remade hence there will be a delay in the item arriving to the customer.

Once a product has been purchased under the category “backorder” please allow between approximatley 10-14 days before the item is shipped out to you.

Clients may request to have a particular item custom made, this is something our store can offer its customers. If you would like a garment custom made, please email enquiries@modeandaffaire.com. Given the nature of custom making a garment, please allow enough time for the process to take place and order the garment well ahead of a special event.

If your item is a custom made order: 14 - 21 days

If your item is out of stock/backorder 10 – 14 days

The estimated time will be confirmed with you depending on your order via email and payment of either deposit or of the item in full.

The item will be shipped as soon as it becomes available and you will be contacted via email with the tracking information once despatched.

If you have ordered multiple items that are in stock and available to be despatched upon the completion of the online order form, these items will be shipped out to you immediately and you will be notified via email the tracking of each item including the item placed as a backorder. In this instance, you will be charged for the shipment of this order, as well as the shipment of your item on backorder once it is ready for despatch. You will be contacted via email to confirm your order and ask for shipping approval.
