REAL WEDDINGS
Wedding Wishes in the Mountains of NZ
A fur jacket quickly became an essential as the beautiful bride, Chelsea, awoke to snow on her icy New Zealand wedding day. Chelsea's wedding wishes were for the Exotique Fur Jacket in Snow, the Exotique Long Fur Jacket in Natural for her mother, and her bridesmaids, styled in the Ruse Fur Collar in Smoke with each of them wearing the Fur Collar in slightly different ways. The bridal party looked stunning in their wedding fur jackets and fur accessories and remained warm throughout the winter wedding day. The photographer beautifully captured the magic throughout Chelsea's New Zealand wedding day.
M&A's Sublime Sydney Wedding
A 16-degree June winter’s day would not be the conventional choice to make when it comes to wedding dates. Nicole & Marc, however, carried it off with the level of grace we all aspire to achieve, and the shining smiles emanating from the Sydney wedding photos had us all dreaming of better things on this early Tuesday morning.
Nicole’s Carla Zampatti wedding dress was meant for the summer bride, but that didn’t stop her. The Classique Fur Jacket in Snow, which is a favourite among our newlyweds, was super ‘cosy warm’ and looked stunning over her elegant dress. The handsome couple, photographed by Lina Hayes, posed in front of Sydney’s urban and beach backgrounds with linked hands and happy faces.
Whatever the temperature, this winter Sydney wedding is certainly lighting our fire! We hope Nicole & Marc’s future is as warm as their wedding day.

The Custom Bride
On a gorgeous spring day in the Granite Belt Region of Ballendean, QLD, Aimee and Dane were married.
The ceremony was held at the family vineyard - a wedding photographer's dream with its lush greenery, tall trees and shimmering lakes.
Aimee, the stunning bride, came to us requesting a special custom wedding order for a luxury stole, with the belief that it would compliment her beautiful bridal gown by Oglia Loro.
Together, we created the stunning Marvelle Mongolian Stole in Snow. As featured in our Winter Ready To Wear Fur Collection in Smoke Grey, Aimee had requested the Fur Stole be hand dyed in Snow to suit her wedding gown.
As for the result, the below photos taken by Rachel Marsden Photography speak a thousand words - Aimee looks utterly glamorous wearing her custom wedding Marvelle Stole in Snow.
A Cape for the South Island Engagement
We were so delighted to hear from the beautiful Kimberley so soon after her wedding day in January, where she married the man of her dreams, Simon, in a scenic south island in New Zealand called Arrowtown.
Kim came to us late last year in her engagement, looking for something to wear with her bridal gown to keep her warm in the likely event that it could be a more cool wedding.
This was just days after we had delivered a new, soft, shell coloured Aimer Fur Cape to our showroom.
Just like Kim and Simon, it was absolutely meant to be. We count ourselves very lucky to play a role in the beautiful day, and that Kim will always be the very first M&A Bride to wear the Aimer Fur Cape in Shell.
Kim's kind words in her message reminded us yet again, why we love what we do, and what we will always endeavour to do in the pieces we create for the ultimate cool wedding.
"Even though I wore the Aimer cape on my wedding day, I cannot wait for winter so that I can find an excuse to wear it again!"
Wedding Vows in Scotland
A bridal fur cape featured as “something old” as well as “something new” on the day of Lucy and Stephen’s magical Scottish wedding in a castle. The breathtakingly beautiful bride wore a Karen Willis Holme bridal gown and her Grandmother’s antique fur cape while her bridesmaids wore our M&A Wedding Fur Scarves to keep them stylishly warm throughout the winter wedding day.
The Bridal Party were styled in our Infiniti Fur Scarf in Pearl, which looked stunning against their navy Shona Joy bridesmaids dresses and were a perfect match with their cream Jimmy Choo heels.
Each of the gorgeous bridesmaids draped the infinity scarf around their shoulders, with it clipped together at the back to allow for optimum warmth on what was described as a classic windy and cool day on the morning of the Scottish wedding.
Share the absolute joy we felt watching Lucy and Stephen’s Scottish wedding vows filmed and created by White Balloon Films by searching for "Lucy and Stephen's Wedding".
A Day in Dublin for an Irish Bride
On a cold winter’s day in an old heritage building in Dublin, two lovebirds were married.
This was the first Irish wedding we have been a part of and when we first met Tara the bride, we were thrilled to be able to dress her and her bridesmaids in feather jackets on her wedding day. The bridal party looked stunning in their matching Plume Ostrich Feather Boleros and from all accounts, celebrated in true Irish style!
A Gorgeous Rainy Wedding
The heavens opened the morning of Jess and Steve’s rainy wedding where it continued to pour for most of the day. Naturally this is a sign of good luck, but thankfully the beautiful bride had teamed our Cascade Fur Jacket in Pearl with her stunning Flannel wedding dress to ensure she remained warm throughout the day.
The Bite-Sized Bridesmaid

Our latest wedding was one very special for Mode & Affaire. Not least because the gorgeous couple Kelly and Jeff got married in a magical September wedding ceremony that had us swooning, but because there was a very special little custom-made addition to Kelly’s order that we absolutely couldn’t get enough of.
Kelly and 1-year old Lucy’s Laci Fur Boleros in Snow were the classiest matching mother-daughter outfits we’ve ever witnessed. Our boleros are a favourite among September wedding brides because of their dreamy soft texture, warmth, and cropped style - we love creating custom orders for our brides on their special day, so little Lucy caused a lot of excitement when we first set eyes on her charming mini bolero!
The gorgeous bride Kelly radiated happiness and love in her Atelier Rose gown and Laci Fur Bolero, and it was a pleasure to help her and her tiny bridesmaid with their precious September wedding journey.

A South African Safari Wedding
Oh, the places we go... Las Vegas, Ireland, New Zealand, Scotland - and more recently, a Safari Wedding in South Africa.
The beautiful bride Amy wore the M&A Plume Feather Bolero in Pearl over her Pallas Couture strapless wedding gown to help remain warm on what she described was a “freezing safari” wedding day in Godwana Game Reserve in Mossel Bay, South Africa.
Amy was seeking something that would offer some warmth in the chance that the weather would be cold, yet needed something lightweight and easy to travel with - so we couldn't think of anything more perfect than the Plume Feather Bolero, which is made from incredibly soft marabou feathers and featuring a short cropped style that just covers the shoulders.
We just love this stunning image of beautiful bride Amy and her sister, captured during the special day by photographer Ryan David Graham.
