Most Picturesque Wedding Venues in Tasmania - Amanda & Nick

Wedding Venues Tasmania

Our darling couple first met in Kindergarten, reminiscing fondly of excursions to the farm. A few years down the track and the sparks began to fly, with Nick cheekily winking at Amanda as he hopped off the school bus in Year 11, propelling the young lovebird’s relationship into full swing.

After a brief interlude when Amanda relocated to Melbourne for university, the couple reconnected. Fast forward 14 fun filled years later, Nick proposed with a self-designed and made engagement ring at Taronga Zoo.

With the amazing support from their wonderful photographer (Fiona Vail Photography) who went above and beyond, even suggesting the picturesque wedding venue in Tasmania - the couple were able to plan their upcoming nuptials all while Amanda was pregnant with their son. Opting for something a little less formal, Amanda and Nick celebrated with a jubilant cocktail-style reception featuring sumptuous canapes paired with a thoughtful tailored wine list. Accompanying the delectable culinary delights was the pinnacle of wedding cake envy, a cheese wheel made purely from scrumptious Tasmanian cheeses.

Our gorgeous bride was an absolute vision in our Saville Snow feather jacket, starkly contrasting the rich moody colour palette of her bouquet. With the gorgeous marabou feathers fluttering softly across her shoulders, Amanda looked utterly and effortlessly glamourous in the cosy lighting of an unexpectedly sunny winter’s day in Hobart. To their absolute delight they were lucky enough to hold the beautiful June ceremony outside, with Amanda even flaunting her bare shoulders in her amazing strapless Allure Bridal gown.

The reception kicked off with a bottle of Bollinger, with the party continuing well into the night. The culmination of sore heads and feet the following morning were a true testament to the amazing memories created and to the abundant love and happiness in the air at the magical wedding of Amanda and Nick.
