A Matilda Bay Wedding

Having met at the beach when in High School, Isabella and Aaron were inseparable ever since! With their dog Archie as witness, Aaron proposed on a rainy day at Moses Rock, Margaret River, the couple's favourite place!

Isabella looked stunning in a  Monique Lhuillier, an Oscar de la Renta Veil, framed with a  Viktoria Novak headpiece. Having been a cold day, Our Feather jacket completeed the look, keeping Isabella warm and comfortable.

The reception was filled with deep jewel tones, gold lanterns and breathtaking floral installations. The guests were presented with a large feast, someting the couple made sure was a must, both being food lovers! The couple danced the night away under the stars with their loved ones and wouldn't have had it any other way.

An Unconventional Elopement In Queenstown

Elopement In Queenstown
Elopement In Queenstown
For this gorgeous couple, having a Vietnamese background would usually mean a traditional and lavish Vietnamese wedding, however both Tran and Thanh chose to bypass all of that and elope in Queenstown, NZ.  Not only did an elopement mean little fuss, but going overseas meant a holiday as well!
Elopement In QueenstownElopement In Queenstown
Keeping with the non-traditional theme, Tran opted for a stunning gold Rachel Gilbert gown, complimented with our Navy Aimer Fur Cape draped over her shoulders. For the ceremony, Tran wore  Louis Vuitton heels, then for photos, changed into some Gucci sneakers!

With its stunning scenery, Queenstown was the chosen venue. Raining the day of the ceremony, the couple exchanged vowels between showers.

Unfortunately, due to the weather, Tran and Thanh were unable to get photos at their chosen locations, so the following day, got dressed up again and took a helicopter up to Bayonet and Cecil Peaks, where the sun was shining, making for glorious and breathtaking images! And more importantly, memories to last a lifetime.

Niseko Wedding - Ryan & Micheal

Niseko Wedding

As their 3rd Wedding Anniversary imminently approaches, we just can’t get over the gorgeous heartfelt Niseko Wedding of Ryan and Michael.

Niseko Wedding

The exuberant couple met 7 years prior to their enthralling Niseko Wedding Nuptials. When Michael asked Ryan what she wanted for their big day, there were 3 essential components – you + me + the snow! So, after originally planning the “Big Traditional Wedding” they decided instead to throw caution to the wind and jet off to Japan.  Of course, not before celebrating with a massive belated engagement party!!!

Niseko Wedding

Joined by their parents and Ryan’s brother, there was a total of 10 people present to celebrate their intimate impromptu elopement.

Niseko Wedding

The December 31st Ceremony was held at The Barn, Hirafu – and what a way to bring in the New Year! Continuing to play by their own rules and highlighting their individual flair, the stunning bride wore our eye-catching Shiraz Aimer Cape to seamlessly compliment her ruby red heels!

Niseko Wedding

Following the ceremony, their friends at Bar Gyu were more than happy to open their doors early exclusively for our ecstatic newlyweds. Afterwards, feeling like every bit like a fairy-tale as the snow fell, it was back to The Barn to enjoy a delectable 8-course French degustation.

Garden Wedding with an Industrial Kiss

GARDEN WEDDINGHaving met each other on the dance floor, their young love blossomed and after 15 years, Courtney and Matt have created memories to last a lifetime, with many many more to come.

Garden WeddingGarden Wedding

The proposal was something out of a rom-com. Being on holiday in New York, Matt had organised the perfect proposal; on a boat in the middle of Central Park. As they walked along the gorgeous tree lined path, the weather made a turn for the worse. Leaving Matt to improvise, with an impeding thunderstorm and a girlfriend trying to hurry back to the hotel, he knelt down on one knee over The Bow Bridge asking Courtney to marry him.

Being completely drenched by the rain, the lovebirds went on to plan a wedding that reflected their style and personalities.

Garden WeddingGarden Wedding

Staying true to themselves, Courtney and Matt shared their love story with their dearest family and friends in a ceremony held at the gorgeous Harold Boas Gardens in West Perth, evoking memories of the proposal in Central Park, NYC. Between the Bride and her creative Bridesmaids, the ceremonial area was transformed to into a light and whimsical space to compliment the surrounding lake and gardens.

Located only minutes away, The Old Pickle Factory was the perfect venue for their Reception. An Industrial blank canvas, Courtney used subtle colours and textures to soften the space, creating warmth in its simplicity. The guests arrived to two breathtaking floral chandeliers by Floral Army, abundant groupings of Hydrangea, Phaleanopsis Orchids and the Brides favourite Early Grey Roses. The couple opted for a cocktail style wedding, as they loved how it allowed for a very social and relaxed feel. The guests were treated to canapés inspired by the Couple’s time in New York, and flowing Gin Spritz’s. Courtney and Matt made sure the formalities were over quickly so they could enjoy more time on the dance floor with their love ones.

The morning of the wedding Courtney wore the Peggy Gown in Snow with custom embroidery (Mrs Johnston). To complement her custom gown, Courtney wore the Ostrich Feather Bolero in Snow and her bridesmaids in the Infiniti Scarves in Blush worn as a Bolero.

A Stunning New Zealand Wedding

New Zealand Wedding

We love a New Zealand wedding. There's nothing that quite compares to the frost-topped mountains, the crystal blue sky, and the pristine lakes that sparkle and dance on a bright day. Capturing a special moment in time is enhanced one hundred fold by NZ scenery, and Jayde & Steve were lucky enough to get it for the happiest day of their lives.

New Zealand WeddingNew Zealand Wedding

Jayde & Steve met when he became her housemate 11 years ago, and have since spent many blissful holidays snowboarding and mountain biking through the enchanting New Zealand terrain. It followed, therefore, that they should naturally have their wedding in the place where they were always the most content. Jayde wore a beautiful St. Patrick wedding dress with her Aimer Cape in Blush, exuding a sophisticated elegance and warmth.

An International Jet-setter; A Chicago Wedding

An International Jet-setter; A Chicago Wedding
Elopement inspiration alert! As a yogi princess dream, Pippa stands out as one of the most down to earth, international brides we've ever helped out. Pippa met pilot Jake at a yoga class, and their first date was an extravagant flight to Rottnest. Soaring over the coast - oh how romantic!

Chicago Wedding

If a first date on a private flight wasn't enough, Pippa & Jake got engaged winging over the pacific on a trip to Japan. They eloped to a Chicago wedding after Jake's new post in the US, and honoured what brought them together by doing a yoga class on the morning of the wedding. Pippa wore an Aimer Fur Cape in Snow for the day, a pristine white fur cape made of the softest fur that moulds to your shape. The protection was sorely needed on a -3 degree spring Chicago wedding day, and Pippa looked all the more gorgeously glamorous for it!

A Romantic Wedding in NYC

A Romantic Wedding in NYC

There was something of a quiet splendor about the NYC wedding that Mode & Affaire was a part of in February. The celebration was intimate, full of romance, and overlooking the iconic New York skyline where the couple took their first trip together.

Romance

The beautiful Leanne came to us in September of 2017 looking for something extra to complete her romantic wedding ensemble in the chilly weather. It was an honour to help her choose her piece and she absolutely glowed in her gorgeous Snow Aimer Cape. The heavens opened the moment the pictures were finished, so the wedding took on a soft and cosy romance vibe in the Brooklyn Winery, with both traditional and modern elements making an appearance.

Pretty in Ponchos at a Vineyard Wedding

Vineyard Wedding
Vineyard Wedding
It's no secret that we adore a rainy wedding day, and the happy faces radiating from Hannah's gorgeous photos provide any sunshine you might be missing. It's impossible not to smile when you see them.
Vineyard Wedding
150 ponchos were bought 2 days before the celebration, and were put to good use; as soon as Hannah started walking down the aisle, the rain started falling as if it was confetti from the heavens. The clouds served an opportunity for rare lighting, and the landscape boasted an exquisite view of grapevines and forestry. The local wedding was held in Denmark, and was supplied by local sourcers - with Mode & Affaire being no exception. Hannah went for a custom order shiraz coloured Ostrich Bolero, to match a bold red lip, and also purchased a matching bolero in Snow for her wonderful bridesmaid. The nuptial colours were a subsequent pop of deep reds, greens, and neutrals that looked absolutely gorgeous. A classic and timeless style with a hint of edge that gave it a unique angle that was entirely Hannah and Ian's. Yet another local wedding that we were incredibly proud to be a part of!

A Fur Stole for Amore in Alexandria

A fur Stole
Wedding Fur Stole
The sun was setting over the Grounds of Alexandria when Daniel and Grace got hitched, after knowing each other for 11 blissful years. Among thousands of twinkling fairy lights in famous location The Grounds, the Sydney wedding played out and was a magical affair - with a reception boasting plants, lights, farm animals, and even a magician!

An August Sydney wedding is beautiful, but chilly. Grace opted to show off a Mae Fluffy Wedding Bolero in Snow with her dress, which added a soft glamour to her outfit that earned her several compliments on the texture and look of her fur. This wedding fur stole is absolutely perfect for when the air is crisp, and it didn't compromise on her look. The sunset photos that Grace took with her new husband were the stuff of dreams - and the ceremony was no different.
